District Board of Church Location and Building Grants
The District Board of Church Location and Building (DBCLB) has undertaken responsibilities of what was formerly the Staunton District Mission Managers and the Roanoke Board of Missions and Church Extension, including strategically examining the missional needs of our local churches, ministries, and communities and extending opportunities for churches and ministries to request grants. Communication/Marketing Grants
The Valley Ridge District offers our local churches micro-grants to be used in communications and marketing efforts in Lent and Advent. These grants can be used to promote your church's upcoming events this season through social media ads, banners, yard signs, mailings, or other ways your church communicates with its congregation and community. Foundation for Evangelism Grant: Equipping the Local Church Grant Cycle 2025. Grants for $5,000 or $10,000 will be awarded to small and medium church congregations, or clusters of churches working together, in a Wesleyan-tradition denomination. The grant is intended to help launch an experiment or initiative to share the Gospel in word and deed, build relationships, and invite others into a discipleship journey with Jesus.
